Must to visit in Europe

Postby motopila » Jul 23rd, '10, 17:20

I am planning this fall to arrange a trip to Europe.

What are the museums?
Are there any museums in manufacturers?
Are there any tours for factory?

P.S. I'm not chainsaw collector, I'm chainsaw fan.

What country's are you going to?
Post your saws in the models library. More saws makes better library!
If you need help to post please ask, I will happily help.

Car travel: Croatia-...-Italy-...-Sweden

Do not exclude the possibility to drive in Austria ( http://www.museen.vulkanland.at/museums/22.htm ) on the way from Croatia to Italy

Husqvarna Museum is not to be left out. It is 3 hrs from me in Jönköping/Husqvarna
In Mid Sweden there are some very nice museums as well in nothern.

There is lots to see!

But what about Germany?

- look at the outside of the strictly guarded fortress "The Stihl Museum"
- view only one rare chainsaw at Solo's reception
- Stihl's exhibit in Sinsheim tech museum
- museum in Lautrecken

all around Stuttgart and "next station - Sweden"?

Dolmar has an official museum?

If you are going as far as northern Sweden, don't miss "Skogsmuseet" (The Forestery Museum) in Lycksele.
If you get them, no matter how and why, guard them well!
