Did decal say 895C or was it just 895? Any other place on the saw?

On other saws I have seen them change model name in IPL's, but not Id tag's or decals. Sometimes opposite...

The 895CL is not a myth, I actually touched one. It was in a McCulloch dealer, with a 72" bar and a price $150 more than a SP125C with a 60" bar.
I would have bought it, but had other cats to kill.

Probabley of the more modern era the Titan 70 and the 805 could be considered rare .They came about in a time McCulloch was in a death spiral it seems which they never recovered from .

It most likely was the fact that Mac had lost favor in the market place and these models just never sold in any great numbers .By that time the board of directers of McCulloch motors had choked the goose that laid the golden egg .
