Right area, but sorry to say wrong question. We never, ever talk about values of saws in here, you may read a bit about it here: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=8600
If you get them, no matter how and why, guard them well!

Thank you and being a newbie, I was not aware but do respect the question was improperly asked.

So, with no knowledge of any Mall saws, I do not know anything about this one.
Age, worth saving, worth the effort to restore or part out.

Just looking for a little advice before I spend $$ on something I have more knowledge in.

No problems :sun:

Mall 12a is a good old classic, maybe not the rarest of those, but a running complete one is not an everyday find. For sure a really nice part of a collection. And from the pics to deem, this one is in very good condition. I love the original bar and it has a very good chain it looks. If it runs at all is good, means the ignition is OK and then it is usually most a question of fixing up the fuel system a bit. Worth making you wallet scream a bit  . That is, if this is a saw that you really like and want, that's what you need to know.

Breese try searching evil bay completed sales section I often get a price guide using this method It also helps to ask the seller outright what does he want for it if you like the price go for it if not go home another one will come along And maybe if you are lucky a few fellow collectors from the USA may private message you with a price guide
