Poulan Pro 445

Postby Harold W » Jul 31st, '10, 05:32

I am looking for information on a Poulan Pro 445. I looked on Acres site and he does not have it listed. A search of the site turned up a few owners that has had one and talked highly about them. However, I haven't been able to turn up any detail information. Does anyone have the specks on this saw?

Passing on 2nd hand info. Poulan Pro 445

Link for IPL for 445 http://weborder.husqvarna.com/order_sta ... 083227.pdf

Poulan 445 71cc was $499 NEW.

445 didn't come with a decompression valve, does yours have it?

Same cc size as 2071 but 445 isn't the same as the 2071. It is the same case as the 2077/2083 both based on a pioneer partner design from the time of E-lux's decision to eliminate them but has a smaller bore and all the weight of the 2083 with a little less performance.

Few differences that I can see. I have a 475.

Like Kevin says its just a little smaller cc and it along with the 425 and 505 have the air injection that the 415 and 475 do not have.

I believe it just depends on the age, if a 475 has the fully developed air injection or not - it sure does on the similar (also 76.5cc) P7700 and 2077.

The PP445 is the same as the P710, and 70.7cc - and the IPL posted here by cut4fun shows the AI duct (SuperClean in PP lingo).

Magnus I have two PP475 here and neither have the super clean, and the IPLs I have show they dont either, as well the 415 does not either.

The IPLs for the 425, 445 and 505 do show the super clean setup on them.

:thanks: Both are 1990 saws then - fits well with the lack of the fully developed "Air injection". The 2077 got it for 1992, as far as I know! o:)

The Poulan Pro 445 was introduced in 1996. It belongs to same family as 405/425/475. It has displacement of 71cc. I have the brochure with specifications on back. If anyone is interested, send me a PM.

That fits, I believe the P710 was a late addition in the"family" as well, and the last to go of the Partner versions here.
