What you do is selecting files to upload to your post. They are smaller than 500kb, actually all under 100kb and still enough.
So you use forum to upload your pics. If your 'puter shoucl have a accident and get thrown out the window or drown in a creek, the pics are here anyway.
This is the best way IMO. Small, good pics attached to post!
:goodjob:

Oh, if you like, I think you can drag them and drop them in text fieald as well, saves a couple more clicks.

Problem with host (regardless of what host it is) is that stuff happen. They change sooner or later.
Address change, link to pic is broken, accounts change or lost even etc

Lee, chy_farm and Magnus, do you have payed accounts on Photobucket? Because this is what's stated by them:
ANY PAYING MEMBER WHOSE PLUS ACCOUNT WAS IN GOOD STANDING AS OF JUNE 1, 2017, SHALL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE ALL THE PHOTOBUCKET SERVICES THAT WERE AVAILABLE TO HIM/HER ON SUCH DATE, INCLUDING IMAGE LINKING AND 3RD PARTY IMAGE HOSTING, UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2018 AS LONG THEY MAINTAIN THEIR CURRENT PLUS ACCOUNT SUBSCRIPTION OR A HIGHER LEVEL PLUS ACCOUNT SUBSCRIPTION DURING SUCH PERIOD OF TIME.
So if you payed to get rid of ads and to get more space you will have service till the end of 2018, then if you don't already pay $400/year you will have to upgrade.

It is all that use Photobucket for free that are immediately affected, with no warning at all, except a blog post from June 26 telling of changed terms. Decency would have suggested at least some explicit advertising of the change and well before.

Shame on Photobucket!
If you get them, no matter how and why, guard them well!

Nope, not me... I had this threat a bunch of times parst 15 years and I will not pay for upgrades or anything else..
They shut down account a couple times as it was too big, too many pic's in it, but that all past..
This might pass or not, I will not pay either way.

It is not a threat, it is in effect. Free hosting on the Photophucker does not include linking or embedding of the pictures. If yours still works it's just a question of time. The only way to view images on a 3rd party web site is to pay $400/year. http://uk.pcmag.com/webcom/90124/news/p ... e-internet

I pay for add free, I was sick and tired of all the adds when trying to upload pic's
or share pic's to different sites. It's a minimal charge so I don't mind it. But after
the end of 2018 looks I will cancel my account unless photobucket changes. 400
bucks is robbery.
